I'm obviously new to the blogging world and I'm not sure what most people use as their first entry. So for mine I guess I should start with a little bit about myself. I have a wonderful husband & an awesome daughter. I have really great friends and I love with my whole heart.
I have been married to my husband (Tony) for 4 years.. coming up on 5 in May. We got married really young, and while many many people thought we were making the worst mistake of our lives we thought just the opposite. Just before we were married Tony joined the USAF and his first (and only) duty station was in Anchorage, Alaska! As if our families didn't have a hard enough time coping with us getting married so young, they also had to deal with us moving far far away! We were so excited to move to Alaska and start our lives. Alaska was so good us. We made some awesome friends, and our daughter (Olivia) was born there!! We have our very own eskimo baby!
On to Olivia.... Miss Olivia is a very busy 2 year old! She is into everything and even at 2 she already knows everything! I wonder where she gets that from?!? She says the funniest things and is very strong minded. She is into a phase of independance right now and as trying as it can be its also so neat to see her become her own person and make her own discoveries. She swears up and down that we got her from Target!! LOL!! I'm sure there will be many many stories of Olivia to come in future blogs. Shes always up to something!
I guess learning a little bit more about ME is all thats left. After you have a family you put your self on the back burner and suddenly talking about them is so much more interesting then anything else! I have many friends and only a handful of best friends. I love my family and friends dearly and would give them the shirt off of my back if they needed it. I am (mostly) a nice person and more often than not I get taken advantage of for my kindness. I decided to call my blog Open Book Ashley because thats how I feel. To a certain extent I'm just like an open book. I do not do things that I wouldn't want others to find out about. But the reason for my title also has to do with other people. I'm not sure if its something about me, but most people feel that they can tell me or talk to me about anything. That is true, I am a great listener but don't tell me your story if you don't want an honest response. I try my hardest not to judge others based on their stories but sometimes the things people tell me floor me! Anyways.. I feel like that is a good start to blogging.. stay tuned for more..
